I have completed my PhD from IISER Pune in the field of Astrobiology focusing on the origin of life aspects of it. During my PhD, I worked on how information containing molecules such as RNA may have formed on early Earth in the absence of enzymes. Our findings have been published as research papers in international journals. After completion of my PhD, I joined the IISER Pune Science Activity Centre (SAC) as a Technical Officer. Established under the Centre of Excellence in Science and Mathematics Education, at SAC we design hands-on science activities and models from readily available materials and conduct workshops on how to use these models to better understand various scientific concepts. I have conducted sessions regarding the incorporation of hands of activities in the curriculum in various schools and colleges. We document these activities in the form of videos and graphical manuals which is available in the public domain.
